Key Recycling:

The Lombard Lions now collect old keys. Why? We recycle them and reuse the metals. Old keys contain lead and mercury. We need to make sure these metals do not pollute our landfills. And, please, do not give babies your keys to play with. Babies put things in their mouths... let’s not poison our precious children.

By June, you will see Key Recycling boxes around town. We will also collect used keys at the Lombard Recycling Extravaganza in September.
